Hi All,

As you are probably aware Schlüter and BAL have been running a training course on uncoupling membranes and movement joints for more than 12 months, from the feedback we have received it seems you would like additional courses added.

At the moment we are considering two additional courses, one is wet rooms which will include Schlüter-KERDI-BOARD and Schlüter-KERDI-SHOWER and the other on balcony and terraces.

Another suggestion for you to think about - screeding made easy using modular screed panels, why should a tiler not be able to offer the complete floor screed and earn more money, ideal for extensions and conservatories, we can easily show how to do this.

The question - Do you want us to consider any other joint courses you would find useful, this is your chance to tell us what you would like?

this would be a great idea guys, i like the sound of the module screed systems!! i already screed with sand/cement and fast track mixes, this would be great for other tile fixers!!

I'd be keen to do the wetroom & screed courses but would also like a day on Bekotec underfloor heating system. Yes you've sent me all the litrature but I need tuition!!!

Schlüter-BEKOTEC and Schlüter-BEKOTEC-THERM is an ideal add on to any tiler, for those who are not familiar with the systems follow the links, it's a really quick and simple system.

We do provide training days at our head office on these products, this includes practical demo work, looking at installing the panels, the pipework and screeding, etc.

If anyone else is interested around the country we can look at specific TilerWorld training days in various areas, so your feedback would be good.

Any of you guys interested in the underfloor heating course? I fix quite a lot of electric UFH and very often get in before the screed installers so this could be a really valuable (and dare I say 'margin making') add-on to my portfolio. If any of you guys are similiar, maybe we can group up and try and learn some more. Shout now!!!

Ian, I’d be up for all those, Id second Andrew, your last training, decoupling and movement joints walls and floors – was 1st class! I saw your full wetroom kit recently and would appreciate a step by step through installing that (looked like an excellent kit), and as others have said, I’d love to learn the modular screed side of things, that would be totally new for me. Can I suggest that we get catalogue hand-outs in the next training session, simply so the trainer can refer to the parts being used or referred to so we can write all over our catalogues (you have a ton of documentation and its sometimes difficult to link in my head which item is which – might be the best way to make notes in class)
