I recently fixed some heavily textured glazed porcs. They came with packing wax which in my experience simply picks off afterwards or sometimes needs a bit uf persuasion with a blade.

this stuff needed a lot of persuasion with a blade but it's more like epoxy resin than wax!
Now it's all left behind in the glaze indents.

Any ideas on how to remove it?

Going to try melting it out tomorrow with a soldering torch....

Ta!

If it is an epoxy, heat it up with a heat gun ( epoxy's hate heat) and try and remove with an absorbant cloth but make sure to wear gloves!
