Whats the difference between vitrified and fully vitrified? When I use Powerspec Online I have to specify one or the other.

Fully vitrified tiles have a water absorption of less than 0.5% whereas vitrifed tiles have a water absorption of between 0.5% and 3%.

Comes from the Latin. vitreo-, vitre-, vitr- (glass; glassy; like glass). Vitrified means made like glass. We all remember petri dishes at school. Comes from the Latin Petra which means stone. When something organic is fossilised into stone it becomes Petrified.
