I hope "Jon@JD_Tiling"doesn't mind me posting this

Jon has promised to put some of his photos up on the site, but in the meantime you can view his TTA double award (Jon is current TTA tiler of the year) winning work at http://www.jd-tiling.co.uk./gallery.htm .... certainly seems to be some money down in the South West

I don't know how you guys are able to complete work like this without going green with envy for the people who get to use it every day!.....

Well done Jon,

Looking at your portfolio I would be amazed if work ever dried up for you.

The finishing touches to these projects sets them apart from the norm.

Using well taken photos and not just 'quick snaps' like I have in my gallery makes a difference too.

Simply brilliant Jon, loved looking at them photos, the award is most deffinatley deserved.

Can i just say though that i thought the speed at which the photo's changed was a little to fast, no sooner had i focused in it went to the next one.

Well done and congratulations mate

Many thanks to you all for your kind comments.

Gallerys on your own websites really do show people (develpers and general public ) what your capable of. Most of my work comes from the website or from word of mouth. Once you get a reputation for a high standard of work you end up as i am now snowed under!.

I get quite a bit of work from customers of Porcelanosa, especially developers. Its important to get your name down as one of their prefered tradesmen. Show them your work, portfolio, website and see how you get on. I also have some portfolios left in tile showrooms. These let customers browse through your work at their leisure, they do seem to work. Flyers are a good idea as well, get them distributed in affulent areas.

Thank you Jon, i like the idea of leaving an actual portfolio in the tile centres, i do leave cards in them but the idea of them browsing through your work at their leisure seems so much more professional.

I have never done the flyer thing as i always thought iit would be a waste of money and just end up in the bin. Some have said to print them off at home but i'm not much cop on this computer and i always feel that they would have to look professional in order to grab the attention of potential customers. But i think it might be worth my while as a few people on here have now said that they do work so stumping up the money and getting them out might just pay off.

Thanks again Jon

TJ
