We would like to thank nick for making a fantastic job of our kitchen splashbacks. The original tiles were in a mess.Nick removed the old tiles and patched up the walls with Bal render. He then re-tiled. It looks a million dollars now. We would definately recommend him to anyone. Clean and tidy & very well mannered.

Thanks to Nick from Yorkshire Tiling Services "AGAIN" I also am a local tiler in Huddersfield and when I have a job that I need some assistance with then Nick is THE ONLY person that I will trust. With the reputation that I have built over the years it is extremly difficult to service all the contracts that come my way however when I have a job that needs, Eye for detail, patience, care, attention, clean working area a perfectionist kind of attitude like my own but cannot fit it into my own shedule then Nick is the person that I call. He has all the above qualities in abundance and as I have said is the only one I will trust with my clients to do a perfect job. I have seen an awful lot of his work and I can assure you all that you will be making a good decision in employing Yorkshire Tiling Services. Take the time to browse his own gallery on here and judge for yourself what to expect. Truly OUTSTANDING Nick. Thankyou once more. Adrian Patterson (AZTEC TILING SERVICES)

Nick from Yorkshire Tiling Services has tiled my kitchen walls and floor, my main bathroom and my en suite. My en-suite has a sink mounted in a vanity unit. The sink never fitted properly as it had been cast unevenly on the under-side.There was an unsightly gap filled with silicone. Nick removed the sink & the wood it was mounted on. He replaced the wood with a piece of 25mm thick marble, into which he painstakinly cut a hole for the sink & contoured the inside of the marbe so the sink fitted snug. Then polished the edges of the marbe. Very happy with his work, would reccommend.

Nick Head of Yorkshire Tiling Services worked on my floor (50m2) and cloakroom walls recently. The job he did is excellent and I would recommend him unreservedly. The floor includes 3 different substrates - timber, concrete, and screed with underfloor heating - so different treatment of these was required, and allowance for the different expansion rates of these needed to be taken into account. The floor area is not only large, but parts of it are not 'square', and it includes several doorways and window reveals, which made working out the tile layout complicated. The outcome of Nick's design is very good - no awkward cuts/strange, no strips of tile that tail off to nothing. Nick worked very hard to ensure that overall, his job was to my satisfaction - and I think it is fair to say that I am "fussy" with an eye for detail. I am pleased to give Nick a glowing reference - I believe anyone employing him will be happy with his work.

I can thoroughly recommend Yorkshire Tiling Services for the brilliant job of laying my stone floor in the kitchen and dining room of our 19th century stone cottage in the Pennines. It was not an easy job because we were living in the house while the work was done and this involved taking out the old kitchen and digging up the floor to level it, before laying new damp proof membrane, concrete floor and insulation, electric underfloor heating, self-levelling screed then the indian fossil sandstone tiles. Nick had to work as quickly as possible, and did, without sacrificing quality, and to co-ordinate and co-operate with several other trades. There were builders, electricians and the kitchen cabinet makers/fitters all working together on the project and, as a family living with the job as it progressed, our only way in and out of the house was over this floor. Naturally we wanted it to be finished as soon as possible. It all depended on Nick to get the floor completed as soon as the electric heating wires had been laid down, before the kitchen could be installed. He pulled out all the stops, working "all hours" until the final coat of sealant had been applied and work on the kitchen itself could begin. We were delighted with the result and still are, over 12 months later. The floor and grouting is immaculate and so easy to maintain.

I would recommend Nick to anyone I meet and hope that after reading this, there are others who would like him to transform their houses too. His attention to detail is amazing, to the point that having measured that our bathroom ceiling was not level, and because we were using small tube-style tiles we could be left with very small cuts around either the top or bottom of the wall (not as noticeable with bigger tiles), he measured the walls to the millimetre so our joiner could accurately lower the roof to a position that would mean a full tile could be used all around the roof level. The result is fantastic and so glad that someone put effort into the preparation to ensure our bathroom looked perfect rather than simply start the job, put most of the tiles on then realising at the last moment the consequences of the uneven roof. Nick has also tiled the exact same tiles in the smaller en-suite in our bedroom. Most impressively the floor tiles in both shower areas were carefully cut like a jigsaw to allow for run off into the shower trays. As both rooms are being used as wet rooms with electric underfloor heating, the trays were specifically moulded to slope into the tray so the tiles had to be cut accordingly. As well as the bathrooms, in the kitchen Nick has levelled the floor with screed before laying 6x6x1 quarry tiles, alternate colours in a diamond shape - Again attention to detail prior to starting has meant that the tiles fit perfectly to end on a full tile by the french windows. He has also painstakingly grinded the cement from the sides/bottoms of the 1200+ tiles prior to laying Now we are looking forward to the completion of the house with the red/black floor tiles being continued into the cellar area with wall tiles in the downstairs cloakroom and utility area, with the final task of tiling the walls with traditional victorian tiles in between the cupboards and wall units in the kitchen. Nick is based in Halifax, West Yorkshire but I know he has worked pretty much everywhere in the UK and I would have no hesitation in recommending him to someone looking for a quality, professional, tidy, efficient and extremely skilled tiler.
